Used Chevy trucks are gaining popularity as many folk's would rather repair their older Chevy vehicles rather than get in hock with monthly payments or just can't get financing for a new Chevy ride. Lot's of folk's are out of jobs and would not even dream of buying new. Well maybe they dream!!!
I just had to replace the fuel pump in my 2002 Chevy S10 ZR2 and remember thinking how lucky I was its paid for and has been for some time now.
So I can afford to put some money back in my Chevy truck because its just costing me insurance and gas each month.
You can bet I will be keeping my old Chevy trucks and installing the needed Chevy truck parts to keep them going.
I am crossing my fingers hoping GM can find a way to get back on the right track with the economy flipped upside down.
Its great we have been enjoying lower gas price's the last few months and with any luck gas prices will continue to stay low as the summer months come up and people start summer vacations and start to bringing out the old Chevy hot rod's for shows and cruse nights.

According to wire service reports, the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. said that 1,000 layoffs were expected at the plant in Oshawa, Ontario.
Its time for everybody to hold on to there pocket books and repair the old truck you've got because nobody really knows what the future holds except that times are going to be tough and be on your best behavior at work because theirs a line of folk's just waiting for a job out there.
One things for sure I will not want to be adding a new Truck payment to my monthly bill's so you can bet I will be fixing my trusty old Chevy trucks.
I can do a lot of fixing on the vehicle I have for just the price of one monthly payment with a little careful shopping around for the best price as local parts stores are giving great deals on parts just trying to bring folk's in and stay afloat since people just are not spending like they used to.
Below Chairman and CEO Rick Wagoner speaks about the upcoming changes in store for GM and hoping the president helps with some cash to keep the Big Three automakers from going into bankruptcy.
Lets all just keep our hopes up that things will turn around very soon. I will see you at the auto parts store buying parts for my Old Chevy Truck.

http://www.xtremechevy.com/2008/September/Will-the-Changes-in-the-Auto-Industry-Make-It-Impossible-to-Find-Chevy-Truck-Parts-in-the-Future.htm

<img title="" alt="chevy truck parts, chevy truck accessories" truck parts, chevy truck accessories" src="http://admin.moguling.com/Upload/xtremechevy.com/Old_Chevy_Trucks.jpg" />
If you're one of those guys who loves his Chevy truck and always buys a Chevy, no matter what, then you can't be happy about the news the GM is closing down four of its truck plants in the next two years. You've got to be asking yourself if you'll still be able to find Chevy truck parts a few years down the road. The cutbacks from GM and the other major truck manufacturers will surely have an impact on the price and availability of Chevy truck parts, Chevy truck accessories and the like. It may very well be that some canny auto parts supplier will fill the gap by manufacturing after market parts for all the Chevy trucks that will still be on the road ten years from now, but there's no guarantee that will happen. It could be that in the future, if you want to keep your good old truck running with genuine Chevy truck parts that you'll be forced to pay premium prices for the parts you need, or you'll be forced to do without. The changes in the auto industry are going to ensure that almost everyone will be forced to change over to driving smaller compact cars, hybrid cars, and smart cars. Who know? Ten years from now, you might be able to find real Chevy truck parts for love or money.

For those that saw the last one, Chevrolet was a major sponsor. The new Camaro was showcased in the first one and in the second, the 2011 Volt will take part. This Chevy truck forum has pictures taken of the 2011 Volt from set. These pictures have just started to circulate the web so I thought it only made sense to showcase one of them on this Chevy truck forum. I know it is not a truck but it is a vehicle Chevrolet is betting a lot on.

The Malibu was garbage if I am being candid. The Volt is its replacement and must be better. The styling is updated and even attractive. The picture posted above was taken from a Transformers 2 spy.

I expect to see some Chevy truck parts in this film as well; maybe some of the commercial size Chevy trucks. This film is going to be great. General Motors has a heavy hand in advertising for this movie so expect to see Corvettes, Camaros, the Beat and more.

<img title="Chevy Truck Parts" alt="chevy truck parts, chevy truck forum" Truck Parts" src="http://admin.moguling.com/Upload/xtremechevy.com/chevy.jpg" /> This Chevy truck forum has begun to move away from only posts about Chevy truck parts and vehicles because of the declining rate of such news. Chevrolet is not the only American manufacturer moving away from gas hogs in the wake of consumer concerns. With that in mind, I wanted to discuss the highly anticipated 2011 sedan called the Cruze. The image above was recently released from the manufacturer and I have to say it is a pretty good looking sedan when you compare against the Cobalt or some of the other cars in the Chevy lineup.

The interior will not be flashy but interested consumers can take notes from the new Corvette because that is where inspiration was drawn from. Expect horsepower numbers to be somewhere in the range of 130-150. Not fantastic by any means but that is the point. Chevy is trying to offer worldwide consumers a fuel-efficient option.

Let me know what you think about the Cruze’s looks? Are you interested in more Chevy truck parts and accessory posts or the latest news from the manufacturer?

<img title="Chevy Truck Forum" height="200" alt="chevy truck forum" Truck Forum" hspace="0" src="http://admin.moguling.com/Upload/xtremechevy.com/chevrolet-silverado-2007-titel.jpg" width="330" border="0" /> People often throw change to the side unless they are quarters. For whatever reason there is a bit of embarrassment with purchasing anything with only change. Think about buying a car with all change because that is exactly what Jake Sweeny did when purchasing a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado. As far as this Chevy truck forum is concerned that guy is awesome. Walking into a Chevy dealer with 16 coffee cans full of lose change equaling 8,000 dollars, he pointed out a red half ton with his mind made up.

Can you imagine 8,000 dollars in change? I wish I could have seen the faces on the salesman that helped him lug in all those coffee cans. A sale is a sale but I wonder how long it took to count all those coins. This Chevy truck forum comes from Butler County near Cincinnati.

In his piles of change, there were even half dollars and Susan B Anthony dollars. In the words of the salesman, “In my 19 years in this business I have never seen anything like this (news.cincinnati.com).” This Chevy truck forum news is unlike anything I have ever come across.

The hope of the new advertisements is to promote new earth friendly Chevy truck parts on the Silverado, the new Bolt, Traverse and the Malibu Hybrid. I have not been able to find these Chevy truck forum advertisements on YouTube but can say that I saw the Malibu Hybrid commercial.

For those looking for something that steps away from traditional Chevy truck parts, I recommend checking out the Traverse (seen in picture). I think it resembles many of the other cross over SUVs on the market but brings something a little bit new with the large rounded front end. I suggest this vehicle for any family man that doesn’t want to submit to the mini-van persona. The Traverse was first showcased in the 2000 Chicago Auto Show and is finally making its sales floor appearance for 2009.

Powered by a 3.6-liter DOHC V6 with variable valve timing the Traverse will scoot drivers around with 286 horsepower (dual exhaust). This engine is new to the Chevy truck forum and looks to be very efficient.

This is for many great reasons. Namely, Chevy has more factories in the US than just about any other auto maker. Another reason is that Chevy truck parts are widely available and for cheap in the US. More auto salvage yards have Chevy truck parts available than jus about any parts for any other make and model of vehicle. This makes finding the Chevy truck parts that you need to fix up your truck easier than pie. Considering that the cost of living and driving has greatly increased over just the past few years, being able to find the Chevy truck parts that you need to keep your ride running smoother, and for cheap too, is as important as ever. Many times you can even find the Chevy truck parts that you need and bring them to your mechanic, who will only charge you for labor, saving you even more money on the future repairs.

GM announced that they will begin to cut 117,000 vehicles (mostly SUVs) annually to help cope with money losses You have probably noticed there are way more Chevy truck parts on store shelves. GM has said that their pickups and SUVs across the board are not selling up to par. No surprise there but with gas prices dropping more consumers may be able to benefit from this Chevy truck forum news.

Trucks are cheap right now. I have a friend that picked up a low mileage, mint Titan V8 for just over 10,000 dollars. For those interested in Chevy truck parts there is no better time to buy. GM has seen a huge slide in their share price that is now sitting at just 11 dollars per share. Help support the American company by getting out there and purchasing Chevy SUVs and pickups.

Purchasing a pickup for recreational or moving purposes only is not that bad of an idea at this point if you already have a fuel efficient car. There are some things only trucks can do.

The 2010 Camaro was unveiled the other day. The biggest difference past the looks and technology used in the 2010 Camaro is the fuel efficiency. Fuel efficiency is not a word that used to be synonymous with American muscle but as we have all seen, the market is changing. Huge Chevy truck parts are falling to the wayside in the wake of light gas saving products.

The Camaro will be available in the first quarter of 2010 in 10 different colors. There will be three models (LS, LT and SS) each with different feature and power options. The first two options listed will have a 3.6-liter direct injected V6 and the SS will have a 6.2-liter V8 (422 hp).

To save gas with the V8, a six speed tranny was added and an active fuel management device. The V6 models will get an estimated 26 miles to the gallon on the freeway and the V8 will get 23 MPG. Can I get your Chevy truck forum thoughts on the new Camaro?

Resembling a PT loser, I do not expect the new 2009 HHR to sell very well but I’m probably wrong. Those who have been reading this Chevy truck forum recently have noticed that much of the talk has focused around smaller vehicles. I don’t know about you but the old standard of large, beefy Chevy truck parts was the way to go. It sucks that fuel efficiency is killing the production of bigger vehicles but many are interested in downsizing so lets take a look at the HHR.

The 2009 HHR will have a base 2.2-liter Ecotech motor, which incorporates variable valve timing, producing 155 horsepower. There will be many models available catering to flex-fuel supporters and those that want more performance. With a base price of 18,000, top models will sell for a modest 24,000 dollars. Apparently, the HHR has been selling well and is expected to see even higher numbers with the release of the 2009 model. The HHR gets 22 MPG in the city and 29 MPG on the highway. What are your Chevy truck forum thoughts for the HHR?

General Motors debuted the Cruze at the Paris Auto Show this past September, which pointed to a 2009 release but Chevy truck forum news has found out that it will not go into production until 2010 and may not be available until the start of 2011.

The Cruze is only 15 feet long and powered by a 1.4-liter turbo engine that is said to get 40 MPG (businessweek.com) while driving on the freeway. Die hard Chevy truck forum members are going to laugh at its minuscule engine and size but like most vehicle manufactures, a down sizing plan is taking effect.

The Cruze is non-hybrid, which will keep the consumer price down so you may want to think about selling your old Chevy truck parts to save for the new fuel friendly sub-compact. The Cruze will take the reins from the Chevy Cobalt and hopefully be a better vehicle. Time and future test drives of the Cruze will tell.

Chevy truck parts: rock on!

http://www.xtremechevy.com/2008/July/Chevy-truck-parts-rock-on.htm

For years, Chevy has been telling their customers that Chevy is built like a rock. And, I have to admit that they do make a tough brand of truck.

I've owned and driven Chevy trucks in the past, and a member of my family just bought their first Chevy, and they love it.

But, what if you have a Chevy that's a little older, a little on the graying side, so to speak. Can you still keep your Chevy in top shape so you can keep it "rocking on"? Well, the answer to that question is, yes you can.

And, you can do it in style. Whether you're looking for new Chevy truck parts, or used Chevy truck parts, or even if you're looking for aftermarket Chevy truck accessories, the parts are out there, and they're usually out there in abundance.

Why? Chevy has built a lot of vehicles, and so there are a lot of "donors" out there, if you're looking for used Chevy truck parts, and if you're looking for new Chevy truck accessories, the same reasoning applies--lots of demand equals lots of supply.

Moreover, you can visit one of the Chevy truck forum sites out there and find passionate Chevy people to converse and consult with about Chevy truck parts, new or used. So, if you're a Chevy lover--rock on!

Trading Chevy Truck Parts for Electric Volts

http://www.xtremechevy.com/2008/June/Trading-Chevy-Truck-Parts-for-Electric-Volts.htm

Another car update in the fuel crunch. The Chevy Volt has not been released to the public yet but GM has just announced that they plan to produce 10,000 Volts in 2011 and 60,000 by 2012. This is an obvious push away from standard gas vehicles to a more fuel minded car.

You will probably not hear this news in any other Chevy truck forum but I thought it was important in forecasting the future of Chevrolet. The news was first broke by the Detroit Free Press after receiving an email about the plan by Gm’s VP, Bob Lutz.

The Volt is on schedule to hit showrooms in November 2010 for around 40,000 dollars. Hybrid electric vehicles are generally less expensive then 40,000 dollars so expect a vehicle that has quality parts and possibly even better fuel economy then seen with today’s Prius. I think Chevy truck parts will soon follow suit and begin to include more electric charging parts. Keep on trucking.

Chevy Truck Forum: Drool Over the 2010 Camaro Convertible

http://www.xtremechevy.com/2008/June/Chevy-Truck-Forum-Drool-Over-the-21-Camaro-Convertible.htm

<img title="Chevy Truck Forum" height="215" alt="chevy truck forum" Truck Forum" hspace="0" src="http://admin.moguling.com/Upload/xtremechevy.com/camaro.1.500.jpg" width="350" border="1" /><--Source: edmunds.com

In today’s Chevy truck forum post, I wanted to take a look at an upcoming Chevrolet that is not a truck. Images and stats on the 2010 Chevy Camaro drop top have reached the web and they are awesome. Boasting a 6-liter V8 that produces around 400 horsepower this baby will scoot you from point a to point b. The final look of the car may be different from the picture above as a Chevy blog disclaimer connected to the photo above stated “actual production models may vary.”

It will have a six-speed transmission but I am not sure how well it will do with gas prices so high. V8s with high horsepower aren’t exactly the most fuel efficient vehicles as you have learned after reading this Chevy truck forum. But for the enthusiasts who had a love for the vintage Camaros, this vehicle may leave a soft spot in the heart.

The coupe and the convertible are expected to be released at the same time in 2009, probably mid-year. Stay up to date by visiting this Chevy truck forum daily.

Chevy Truck Forum: Increasing Incentives on New Trucks

http://www.xtremechevy.com/2008/June/Chevy-Truck-Forum-Increasing-Incentives-on-New-Trucks.htm

<img title="Chevy Truck Forum" alt="chevy truck forum, chevy truck parts" Truck Forum" src="http://admin.moguling.com/Upload/xtremechevy.com/chevrolet-tahoe-hybrid-named-2008-green-car-of-the-year.jpg" />In an attempt to increase the sales of Chevrolet’s line of truck and SUVs increased incentives including cash rebates are being offered during the purchase of specific new vehicles. The Chevy truck forum has been filled with news about GM and Chevy’s attempt to stimulate sales in such a volatile economic time. Gas prices are killing the sales of vehicles like the Tahoe. Past offering incentives there is nothing the car manufacturers can do.

A 3,000 dollar rebate is available when purchasing a new Chevy Silverado and a 4,000 dollar rebate is available when buying a new Tahoe. According to Chevy truck forum news, this cash rebate program began last week and will run until the end of June.

Those interested in a new Chevy truck need to take advantage of these savings while there available. On the same coin, gas prices will increase and larger vehicles will continue to struggle so incentives may increase even more. Watch for how demand changes for these vehicles over the next few months to help you decide when the best time to buy. Chevy truck parts should also decrease in price.

Recently my youngest son purchased a chevy truck. He is so proud of his brand new vehicle. Already he has started to personalize it with a variety of chevy truck accessories. Some of his favorite things are the dark tinted windows and the air conditioning which help cut down the heat of the very hot sun in the area where he lives. His list of chevy truck accessories also includes some new, bigger tires than the ones that are on it, as well as a truck box liner for the back of the truck. He is also looking at a fancy new tool box to have installed so it remains permanently behind the cab of the truck. He is really enjoying his new chevy truck and says that he has been on the internet in a chevy truck forum, discussing with others different ideas about how to use the kinds of chevy truck accessories that are available. One of the great things about being a chevy truck owner is that he says the chevy truck parts are not that expensive to buy so personalizing his chevy truck is not too difficult to do.

There is now a nice array of online stores and warehouses that sell plenty of the best Chevy truck accessories and parts that you will ever need to deck out your truck. Sites like JCWhitney.com are offering some of the best deals on Chevy truck accessories and parts. You can also get all the Chevy truck accessories and parts that you could ever dream of from sites like Partstrain.com and others. The best part about Chevy truck accessories is that they are cheap. Unlike other trucks, like Nissans, which have imported parts, most Chevy truck accessories and parts are made in the US and cost far less than the competing brands. My best friend owned a Chevy truck that was made in 85. He was able to always find plenty of Chevy truck accessories and parts that his truck made it over 300k on the odometer. This was in part because most often his parts would be very inexpensive and easy to install. Of course the newer cars and trucks are more complicated, but his 85’ is still running sound!
