The Chevrolet HHR is a blend between small car and SUV. Resembling a PT loser, I do not expect the new 2009 HHR to sell very well but I’m probably wrong. Those who have been reading this Chevy truck forum recently have noticed that much of the talk has focused around smaller vehicles. I don’t know about you but the old standard of large, beefy Chevy truck parts was the way to go. It sucks that fuel efficiency is killing the production of bigger vehicles but many are interested in downsizing so lets take a look at the HHR.

The 2009 HHR will have a base 2.2-liter Ecotech motor, which incorporates variable valve timing, producing 155 horsepower. There will be many models available catering to flex-fuel supporters and those that want more performance. With a base price of 18,000, top models will sell for a modest 24,000 dollars. Apparently, the HHR has been selling well and is expected to see even higher numbers with the release of the 2009 model. The HHR gets 22 MPG in the city and 29 MPG on the highway. What are your Chevy truck forum thoughts for the HHR?
