Chevy Truck Forum: 2010 Camaro Unveiled |
| 7/23/2008 11:08:40 AM |
I am confident that everyone who enjoys reading this Chevy truck forum also enjoys American muscle and what better icon for this genre then the Chevy Camaro. The 2010 Camaro was unveiled the other day. The biggest difference past the looks and technology used in the 2010 Camaro is the fuel efficiency. Fuel efficiency is not a word that used to be synonymous with American muscle but as we have all seen, the market is changing. Huge Chevy truck parts are falling to the wayside in the wake of light gas saving products.
The Camaro will be available in the first quarter of 2010 in 10 different colors. There will be three models (LS, LT and SS) each with different feature and power options. The first two options listed will have a 3.6-liter direct injected V6 and the SS will have a 6.2-liter V8 (422 hp).
To save gas with the V8, a six speed tranny was added and an active fuel management device. The V6 models will get an estimated 26 miles to the gallon on the freeway and the V8 will get 23 MPG. Can I get your Chevy truck forum thoughts on the new Camaro?
