The great thing about American cars is that you can fix them yourself. You don't have to go to the auto dealer all the time for everything and pay those outrageous maintanence prices for the silliest things you could have easily done on your own.
Most of us in the truck world know what this is like, that is why we go with either Ford or Chevy. If you cheer for the latter, then you know that Chevy truck parts are no too hard to find. If you aren't sure where to look, here are some pointers:
Where to find Chevy Truck Parts
1.) Before going and buying your Chevy truck parts from an official source, try places like Craig's list, eBay, garage sales, chop shops, even places where you can "swap" stuff. There are many out there and it is free as long as you have something to trade in return. These can be great places if your part is really expensive, though just be weary of the specs, its condition, the user's rating, etc. Buying on the internet can help you save money, but it can also be shady at times.
2.) If all else fails, go get your Chevy truck parts at the dealer or shop you got your truck from. Though this is the most expensive route, it is also the surest.
