Chevy Truck Parts Back Up for Cobalt XFE |

Let’s put the discussions about Chevy truck parts and Chevy truck accessories to the side right now and look at the 2008 sub-compact Chevy Cobalt XFE that is boasting even more gas mileage then the standard Cobalt. How is this possible you ask? The FE stands for fuel efficiency, which Chevy has gained after only offering this car as a manual. That shift will increase daily commuters an average of three MPGs on the highway. That doesn’t sound like much but with the ever increasing prices of gas ever little push counts. That means that the XFE will get 25 MPG on the streets and 36 MPG on the highway. I drive a Scion TC and thought 30 MPG on the highway was good for a non-hybrid but the XFE has upstaged that number. This car starts at 15,000 dollars, which puts it in the price range of everyone.
Chevy truck parts are great but when talking fuel economy, Chevrolet trucks are not the vehicles to talk about. The XFE is built with low resistance rims and tires to further increase MPG. The XFE comes with more rebates then the stock Cobalt as well.
